Nur Aziz lulus pendidikan sarjana farmasi dari Sekolah Farmasi, Institut Teknologi Bandung. Aziz kemudian melanjutkan pendidikan doktoral (Ph.D) pada tahun 2017-2022 di laboratorium Molecular Immunology and Biochemistry, Department of Integrative Biotechnology, Sungkyunkwan University di Korea Selatan. Aziz bergabung di Departemen Histologi dan Biologi Sel pada tahun 2024.
