Raden Endy Widya Putranto lulus pendidikan dokter umum pada tahun 2007 dari FK-KMK UGM. Endy kemudian melanjutkan pendidikan doktoral (Ph.D) pada tahun 2009-2013, dan post doktoral pada tahun 2014-2016 di Department of Cell Biology, Okayama University Graduate School of Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmaceutical Sciences di Jepang. Endy bergabung di Departemen Histologi dan Biologi Sel pada tahun 2023, setelah sebelumnya memperoleh gelar magister kedokteran klinis (M.Med.Sc) dan dokter spesialis anak (Sp.A) di tahun yang sama.
